Fortnite returned last Sunday, December 5th to be exactly. Lots of fun, new content and completely different, to make players build new types of strategies. For this season Fornite has changed in all aspects and the upgrade comes with all new features. In this chapter, one of the collaborations is with marvel, with Spiderman being the main skin character of this season.
The Map
As you can see, there are all sorts of new locations on the Chapter 3 map, including a desert biome, a tropical lagoon and a whole bunch of snow. It looks like Tilted Towers is buried in the snow and will slowly be revealed once it begins to melt. However, most of the named locations are entirely new, including Camp Cuddle, Condo Canyon and The Daily Bugle.
There are also new outposts for the Seven—the group of NPCs comprised of the Foundation, the Scientist and so forth. A whole series of new quests is available that has to do with the Scientist and the deeper season-spanning narrative.
There will also be all kinds of new weather effects including lightning strikes and tornados that can lift you up and spit you through the air. These will arrive later this season.
The Weapons
Quite a few new weapons have been added to the game. We like that these are all more traditional weapons but still quite different from what we’ve used in the past. No laser guns, no ‘Primal’ weapons (thank god!) but some nice twists on military-style guns.
Ranger Assault Rifle.
Made for distance! The Ranger Assault Rifle is forceful at medium range and quite capable at long range.
MK-SEVEN Assault Rifle.
Built from The Seven’s technology, the MK-Seven Assault Rifle is a medium- to long-range weapon with a high rate of fire.
Striker Pump Shotgun
The Striker Pump Shotgun shoots a whole lot of pellets and boasts high burst damage.
Auto Shotgun.
The Auto Shotgun may not do as much damage as the Striker Pump per shot, but it has a faster fire rate and reloads two shells at a time.
Stinger SMG.
The Stinger SMG deals high damage to both opponents and structures. It stings at medium range more than one may expect!
Hunter Bolt-Action Sniper Rifle.
The Hunter Bolt-Action Sniper deals high damage and can shoot three shots per clip.
Sidearm Pistol.
The Sidearm Pistol is an accurate weapon that deals high damage at medium range and high headshot damage at close range.
But there are more new items!
A number of new gameplay items have been added in Fortnite’s third chapter. These include:
Tents: You can use tents to heal up and to store items that can be used in future matches. This is the first time players have been able to save items for future matches.
Victory Crowns: This is basically all about bragging rights. If you win a match, you get a Victory Crown. If you wear it into the next match and win again, you can use a special emote to show off how many Crowned Victory Royales you have. Placing top 4 in solos, top 2 in Duos and #1 in Trios and Squads will get you a crown.
Web-Shooters: These aren’t coming to the game until December 11th, but they’ll let you shoot webs and swing around on them like Spider-Man. Combined with the new sliding mechanic this should really make mobility fun this season.
Med-Mist: This is a healing spray canister with 150 HP to spray on yourself or a teammate.
Guzzle Juice: Basically slurp juice but with a twist. While one bottle will slowly heal you to 100% health, taking damage while healing will halt the process.
Vaults: You’ll need to open these with a teammate (or an enemy if you can communicate a truce). It’s part of the new emphasis on working together. You can revive or reboot teammates by having more than one player chip in also.
Quadcrushers: These sturdy, speedy little vehicles have been unvaulted, replacing Shopping Carts and ATKs.

We are definitely enjoying this new chapter! We have been playing like excited kids since it released, so thank god we are not living with our parents anymore. Otherwise, we would probably be grounded already for spending so many hours in front of the TV!
... But hold on is that The Rock? It seems like in this new chapter we will see "The Rock" avatar!
